Adexen was mandated by an international company in the manufacturing and distribution of building materials to recruit an experienced individual for the position below:

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Project Management: acquisition, design, engineering and calculation of projects
• Technical support ot four sales / distribution partners & clients to ensure market
• Provide the sales team the required technical support, work in hand with the responsible Sales Engineer at HQ
• Organize and conduct technical know how
• Conduct and support the sales of piping, sanitary and bathrooms systems
• Execute market research and analysis to develop recommendations for the market approach
• Support in defining the country specific product assortments
• Organisaing and conducting of visits, factory tours and training in Switzerland, Germany and South Africa
• New product kick-off and presentation
• This position is responsible for the Nigerian and Ghanaian markets.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or any other relevant discipline from a recognised University
• Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing / sanitary field, relationship to contractors and consultants.
• International experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of the building and construction industry as well as the ability to understand and communicate effectively with regard to technical issues
• Communication capacities, negotiation skills
• CRM, AutoCAD application knowledge
• Multi-cultural team.
