Job Purpose Statement
- The role of Fund Accountant/Reporting Analyst is to be responsible for preparing consolidated accounts and investor reporting for investment funds.
- This role also entails the holder Deliver accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting of investments funds by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling and other ad hoc reporting for funds
- Works closely with senior member of the team to ensure that team members comply with operating policies, procedures and guidelines for completion of Fund Accounting processes.

- The role holder has the mandate to Perform fund analysis and reporting for critical decision making purposes
- Develop process improvements to enhance financial performance
- Acting as a point of escalation for complex issues
- Work with the Investment Back office team for Transaction instructions and deal letters
Work cycle and impact:
This role has various work cycle and impact grouping:
- Perform daily accounting of investment funds.
- Perform month end reconciliations and account closings
- Monthly, quarterly investment reconciliations
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University (Accounting, Finance or Finance related field)
- Master’s Degree in related field is an added advantage.
Desired work experience:
- 1-3+ years’ work-experience in a business finance role
- Possess a strong knowledge of fund operations, including valuation, accounting and payment procedures.
- Strong team player, organized and possess a high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, data gathering and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while complying with all Company rules and regulations.
- Financial industry experience preferred but open if relevant to digital banking goals
- Demonstrated actual practice providing practical solution to people problems
