1.) Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Planning:
- Assists in the development and implementation of GZI’s procurement strategies, manuals, policies and procedures to ensure an efficient, best practice, and commercially focused procurement function.
- Ensures strict adherence to GZI’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinates the analysis and monitoring of current and future procurement requirements, and prepares to support the achievement of corporate objectives and targets.
- Engages with the business to identify the key procurement priorities, and ensure that purchases are made at competitive prices.
Procurement Operations:
- Enforces a short turn-around time for processing Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Monitors to ensure an up-to-date database of qualified vendors and suppliers of goods and services to the company.
- Implements sourcing processes, Request for Proposals (RFP) compilation, evaluation of suppliers’ responses and negotiation with suppliers including long term purchasing agreements.
- Manages key supplier relationships to deliver excellent operational performance in cost, service and quality.
- Monitors to ensure that delivered goods are inspected to conform with the specifications on the order.
- Implements the processes for reviewing contracts, supplies and vendors, ensuring that maximum value for money benefits are achieved.
- Facilitates and monitors all international procurements, from order to delivery.
- Assists in developing and implementing new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Manages and fosters good relationships with relevant government agencies to ensure prompt delivery of procured commodities.
- Oversees the purchase of Insurance Certificates, processing of Form M, Risk Assessment Report (RAR) and other relevant custom clearing documents.
- Ensures shipping/customs clearing documents conform with requirements.
- Monitors Inspection or Scanning companies to ensure timely issue of CRI.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaises with Engineering and Production Departments for materials requirements and specification.
- Liaises with Customs and clearing Agents for smooth clearance.
- Liaises with Accounts to ensure payments of supplied goods.
- Instils Code of Integrity, Honesty and Trust in Suppliers.
- Relates with Stores on Purchase, Inspection and Delivery of materials.
- Liaises with Key Personnel for the offloading and receipts of materials.
People Management:
- Supervises, directs and evaluates assigned subordinate staff.
- Handles subordinates’ concerns and problems, directs and schedules work.
- Provides on-the-job coaching and direction to subordinates.
Required Education
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or HND in Engineering, Economics or Business Studies.
- An MBA or relevant Masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Relevant professional qualification in Supply Chain Management e.g. Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) will be an added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

2.) Job Title: Internal Audit Officer
Location: Ogun

Job Description
- Assist with the planning of internal audit work programmes.
- Participate in all entrance and exit meetings with audit client to address process/control gaps and agree on all issues with timelines for resolution.
- Perform internal audit fieldwork, reviewing exposure to risk and the effectiveness of the controls in place to mitigate risks.
- Recommend improvements to systems and controls based on observations and best practice.
- Prepare internal audit reports which present audit findings in a clear, concise manner.
- Assist on other special assignments as appropriate (e.g., spot checks, fraud investigations, effectiveness reviews)
- Ensure sound knowledge of the company and its industry by researching background information and useful publications.
- Build audit client relationships.
- Communicate with the audit client and the Internal Audit Team Lead on any issues or findings.
- Develop and apply technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience.
- Have an awareness of the various products provided by GZI.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with audit clients both during the on-site audit and during all communications.
- Ensure completion and closure of audit engagement within approved turnaround.
- Prepare regular reports outlining the status of the reports against the audit plan as well as exception reporting detailing the outstanding issues.
- Prepare regular summary reports for presentation to the respective internal meetings summarizing the key issues highlighted during the verification visits/audits of the individual programmes.
- Manage the on-going reporting to the Board/BARC/respective Departments in relation to the results of the onsite verification visits/audits in conjunction with the Head Internal Audit
- Ensure regularization of all exceptions by the Auditees through the administration of monthly trackers and updates and obtain of Certificate of Compliance when all issues have been regularized.
- Preparing and ensuring up to date documentation of all audit engagement.
- Assist Head Internal Audit in other assignment necessary in achieving the purpose and responsibility of Internal Audit department.
Required Education
- Minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline
- Relevant professional certifications e.g., Certified Information System Audit (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or its equivalent is added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years internal audit, control, or risk management experience.

3.) Job Title: Washer Technician

Job Description
- Monitors the can washer and waste water treatment plant, ensuring they operate optimally at all times.
- Assists to monitor washer chemical levels, washer quality, washer agent concentration and treated water quality, and carries out corrective measures when required.
- Monitors DI water condition, initiates column change over and regeneration as required.
- Monitors soluble oil system, maintains or adjusts concentration and biocide levels as required.
- Assists with daily calibration of laboratory instruments and proper alignment of measuring slopes.
- Performs various manual or mechanical production and support functions by operating, adjusting, repairing and maintaining the washer equipment when required.
- Complies with established job safety practices and standard operating procedures for safe performance of work assignments.
- Supports and follows the guidelines of the food safety system.
- Performs filter changes when necessary.
- Ensures all specialized personal protective equipment is correctly used and maintained.
- Maintains, secures and sanitizes work tools.
- Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
- Acts as a back-up for other parts of the assembly line.
- Completes daily maintenance and repair logs.
- Makes adjustments as necessary to ensure products are in line with quality and design specifications.
- Maintains an awareness of, and complies with hazardous waste management and other environmental management requirements
- Performs troubleshooting on washer equipment when required.
Required Education
- Minimum of a First Degree or HND in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

4.) Job Title: Production Technician

Job Details
Production:
- Works towards the achievement of production goals including minimum spoilage and high product quality.
- Performs various manual or mechanical production functions by operating and adjusting production equipment.
- Supports the Engineering team in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment as required.
- Disassembles, overhauls, and rebuilds production equipment under the supervision of a qualified maintainer.
- Rotates through workstations as needed for coverage, relief, and training purposes.
- Maintains and secures work tools, and replenishes supplies required for assigned areas.
- Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
- Acts as a backup for other parts of the assembly line, and for the warehouse.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Conducts inspection of in-process or finished products.
- Performs quality assurance checks as required.
- Health, Safety, and Environment
- Operates production machinery as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Complies with corporate directives and established job safety practices, policies and procedures for the safe performance of work assignments.
- Supports, implements and conforms to the guidelines of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and the food safety management system.
- Performs clean-up and housekeeping duties.

- Completes daily production, quality assurance and maintenance logs in conjunction with other record-keeping duties as required.
- Integrated Management System
- Documents, implements and maintains the requirements of the Quality, Food Safety, Environment, Health and Safety management systems.
Required Education / Experience
- Minimum of a First Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced skills (Journeyman / Trade Certificate level) required in one or more of the following areas: mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience using one or more of the following tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/horizontal cut off saw.
